BCC Small Business Development Director Corey Hansen honored twice for success in helping clients
BELLEVUE, WASH. -- Corey Hansen, director of the Small Business Development Center at Bellevue Community College, has been honored twice by the Washington Small Business Development Network for his success in helping east King County businesses grow and contribute to the local economy.
The Network recently named Hansen to its 100 Jobs Club for helping small businesses save or create 195 jobs in 2005, and to the $1 Million Dollar Club for helping small businesses acquire more than $4.5 million in financing last year.
The mission of the 16 Small Business Development Centers in Washington state is to help owners and operators of small businesses accelerate growth, acquire financing, increase profitability, enhance competitive advantages and develop long-term stability.
The centers, which provide free and confidential business management and research assistance, are sponsored by the U.S. Small Business Administration, Washington State University and local organizations such as Bellevue Community College.
The Centers’ services are provided as part of these organizations’ commitment to strengthen local businesses and communities.
