BCC Gallery Space features
sculptures by Seattle’s Mark Calderon

BELLEVUE, WASH. – Works by Seattle sculptor Mark Calderon are on exhibit through Dec. 11 at Bellevue Community College’s Gallery Space.

Gallery Space is located in Room 271 of the D Building on BCC’s main campus (3000 Landerholm Circle S.E. in Bellevue, at the intersection of S.E. 28th St. and 148th Ave. S.E.).  The gallery is open from 11 a.m. to 2:50 p.m., Wednesday through Saturday.

Calderon is known for infusing his sculptures with inspiration from other cultures and with spiritual and religious references.

His works have been exhibited widely on the west coast for many years, as well as in galleries in New York and Philadelphia and in corporate offices across the nation.

Calderon has received numerous grants, fellowships and commissions, including the 1997 Seattle Artists award from the Seattle Arts Commission.
