Art on Campus
Many thought-provoking public art installations beautify our campus. Stop by the BC Gallery Space to view art exhibits that change quarterly featuring art by students, employees, and local artists.
Located in the center of the main campus, right outside the Student Union Building, the fountain is a popular place to meet up with friends.
This bronze sculpture is a focal point of BC’s central courtyard, just north of the Student Union Building. Created by BC faculty member and acclaimed Northwest artist Ray Jensen, the statue depicts the artist’s believe that a college education opens doors to transform lives.
Ring of Fire
Created by artist Stu Branston, the steel prime-painted sculpture “Psalm” marks the front entrance of the Carlson Theatre in the south courtyard. Created of metal, paint and light by artist Jim Hirschfield, “The Ring of Fire” is located on the campus north end in the R building courtyard.

Made of sumi and Gouache on rice paper, this is located on the third floor of the R Building.
This acrylic on masonite and wood sculpture, located in the Carlson Theater Lobby, is the work of artist Ron Hinson.
Find this work of concrete, steel rebar, and steel wire in front of the S Building.
This metal sculpture, located on the west end of the N Building, was created by artist Harold Balazs of stainless steel, aluminum, and concrete.
