Fitness Center


To use the Fitness Center students, faculty, staff, and community members must be enrolled in one of the following classes:


You may either take it for two credits or you may audit (no credit).

Fitness Center Schedule

You may attend class and work out during the open hours of the Fitness Center.
Monday - Thursday6:30 am - 8:30 pm
Friday6:30 am - 6:30 pm
Saturday10:00 am - 1:00 pm

The Fitness Center is closed on days in which no regular classes are scheduled, including holidays, finals week, school closures, etc.

Summer Quarter Fitness Center Hours.

Fitness Center Orientation

Students must attend one Fitness Center Orientation per Academic Year.

(The academic year starts Summer Quarter and ends Spring Quarter)

Orientations are held every hour on the half hour the first 2 days of each quarter. The first orientation start at 7:30 am and the last at 7:30 pm. Each orientation takes about 40 minutes.

After the first 2 days of the quarter, make-up orientations are held at 8:00 am, 12:00 pm and 5:00 pm.

Earning Credit for Working Out

Visits are tracked by computer, students must complete a minimum of 40 minutes per visit in the Fitness Center to earn credit. Students may work out longer and more than once a day, but can earn only one visit for credit per day.

  • 39 or more workouts = A
  • 30 – 38 workouts = Pass
  • 29 workouts or less = Failure

There are Wellness Center activities offered for extra credit. Information is posted as these activities are scheduled, see cork board in the hallway outside Fitness Center or check out the Wellness Center website.

Credit is earned differently during Summer Quarter.

Lockers and Showers

Lockers are available, but you must bring your own lock. It is strongly advised that you lock up ALL your belongings. Showers are available in the men’s and women’s locker rooms. Towels are also available for your use.
