MISSION & GOALS

The mission of the Radiation Therapy program at Bellevue Community College is to provide a low cost, high quality education serving the needs of the state of Washington. The program prepares graduates to become radiation therapists with the necessary knowledge and skills to deliver prescribed treatments safely and competently and provide quality patient care. In affirming the mission, vision and core values of Bellevue Community College, the Radiation Therapy program places students at the center of its program and supports and promotes the excellence of their efforts.

Program Goal One: To graduate students who will be competent entry level radiation therapists

Program Goal Two: To provide educational activities which support optimal critical thinking, problem solving and communication skills

Program Goal Three: To provide a learning environment that encourages students’ professional growth
