Accounts
While you are attending BCC, you may be
assigned a variety of student technology accounts. Get some
quick answers to what accounts are for and who you contact
to access them.
Student ID (SID)
The SID is your student identification number—this
number is automatically assigned to all incoming students
when you apply for admissions.
Student E-Mail
Credit students who have paid the technology
fee have access to a student e-mail account. This is also
the account you may use to log in to a computer in a classroom
or lab on campus. Below are a few quicklinks to get you started.
WebCT or Vista
WebCT and Vista is courseware used for online classes taught
through Distance
Education. Students enrolled in an online class through
Distance Education or who are in a class with an online component
will usually have a WebCT or Vista account.
Continuing Education Registration Account
Students registering for a non-credit class through BCC Continuing
Education will create a registration account the first time
they register for a class. This account can be created or
accessed by logging into MyClasses
on the Continuing Education site.
