Request to take over 18 credits

Before you request to take over 18 credits, please be aware that for every hour of class time, you are expected to spend two hours doing homework.

If you would like to take over 18 credits to a maximum of 21, you must have earned at least a 3.0 cumulative GPA at Bellevue College. If you have met this GPA requirement at another college or university, we will need to see a copy of your unofficial transcript before we can approve your request.

If you are on the waitlist and have a 3.0 cumulative GPA or higher, you do not need to submit this form. Payment does not guarantee your schedule. If the waitlist enrolls you in over 18 credits you must pay any additional tuition and fees or you may be dropped from the class.

If you are registered for more than 18 credits and you wish to drop a class, you must do so in person at Enrollment & Registrar Services.

Students are not allowed to take over 18 credits during summer quarter due to the accelerated coursework and short quarter length.
