WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT

WorkFirst Computer Basics Class

A free Computer and Software Fundamentals class for low-income parents. This class will teach keyboarding skills; Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook; resume writing; and will offer job placement assistance. For more information, call (425) 564-4180 or e-mail bbailey@bcc.ctc.edu.

Free ESL

Free classes are offered for ESL students who are low-income parents, have permission to work in the US, and are currently looking for work. Students learn to improve their reading, writing, and speaking skills in English; gain computer skills; and get job placement assistance. Worker Retraining

Tuition assistance, priority registration, and educational planning for those who are currently collecting unemployment or have exhausted those benefits in the past two years, for displaced homemakers, or those who were self-employed in a declining industry. For eligibility, enrollment, and program information, attend a FREE orientation. Call (425) 564-4054 for details.
