Internships with Friends of the Cedar River Watershed

Friends of the Cedar River Watershed is accepting applications for a Volunteer Habitat Restoration Intern and a Cedar River Salmon Journey Intern. Volunteer activities include the removal of invasive species and weed suppression, planting of native plants, watering, weeding, mulching, and monitoring. The VHR internship focuses on learning and understanding the habitat restoration process and assisting with volunteer events, including volunteer management and environmental education.The CRSJ internship focuses on increasing public awareness of our local salmon and the Cedar River watershed, assisting with program implementation, volunteer training, and communication. Application links are below and are due by August 29.
