Win Big! Log 10 Trips with BC RideMatch

Happy summer! And with summer arrives…the BC RideMatch summertime promotion! Brought to you by your local transit agency, King County Metro, WSDOT and the Washington State Ridesharing Organization, this five-week campaign runs from Sunday, Aug. 17, through Saturday, Sept. 20.

Those who register or update their accounts and log at least 10 completed, eligible commute trips on the BC RideMatch calendar will be entered into prize drawings. Eligible modes include vanpool, carpool, riding transit, walking, biking, telecommuting, or compressing their work week. As the eligible trips are logged on the calendar, employees will be automatically qualified for the prize drawings. Visit RideshareOnline.com for full eligibility requirements.

All those working in King County who participate get the benefits of saving money on commute costs, cleaner air and a sense of community! Participating employees who track their qualified work trips will be entered into random prize drawings, in which they could win:

  • One of four gift cards valued at $500 each
  • One of 30 $50 MasterCard weekly gift cards

With school starting in a few months, now’s a great time to think about commute choices. And BCRideMatch can help through carpool and vanpool ridematching, personalized dashboard reporting cost and fuel savings and rewards for everything from riding the bus to working from home.

How do employees enter?

Employees will need to register at BCRideMatch or log in and access their accounts. Then, during the Aug. 17 – Sept. 20 promotion, they need to log at least 10 eligible trips on the calendar to be entered into prize drawings and track weekly to be entered into weekly drawings. Eligible modes include vanpool, carpool, riding transit, walking, biking, telecommuting or compressing their work week. As the eligible trips are logged on the calendar, employees will be automatically qualified for the prize drawings.
