Fall Quarter Academic Awards Reception
The Fall 2008 Academic Awards Ceremony
was truly a time of celebration and enlightenment. The event showcased
the academic accomplishments of scores of TRiO participants highlighting
academic benchmarks of 2.5 (bronze certificates), 3.0 (silver
certificates), and 2.5 and higher (gold certificates).
This quarter’s speakers were Dr. Ata Karim,
Director of Multi-Cultural Services and Lynnyetta Keller, University of
Washington (class of 2011). Both challenged and inspired the crowd to
help others and reach for their goals.

Quarterly Progress Reports
Each quarter we send out
mid-quarter progress reports to your instructors so that you can have an
idea of what your grade is midterm; it also helps staff identify ways we
can better assist you. These reports will be mailed out by the end of
the week and should be trickling in to the TRiO front desk by mid-next
week. During the up coming week, please feel free to stop by and ask if
yours has been received.
