Orientation Sessions
BCC DIAGNOSTIC ULTRASOUND ORIENTATION SESSIONS
All applicants MUST attend an orientation session in order to receive an application to the program. At these sessions detailed information will be provided about the field of ultrasound, our ultrasound program, the application process and prerequisites, credentialling examinations, and the job market. Questions such as: "Can I become a successful sonographer?" "What is required to enter the Program?" "What are the job opportunities and pay scale?" will be answered by faculty of the Diagnostic Ultrasound Program at BCC. NO RESERVATIONS ARE NEEDED, BUT YOU ARE REQUIRED TO BE PRESENT FOR THE ENTIRE MEETING TO OBTAIN AN APPLICATION TO THE PROGRAM. Those living outside the state of Washington should e-mail Katherine Olson, Program Chair, at kaolson@bcc.ctc.edu to make other arrangements.
You are encouraged to bring your spouse, parent(s) or a friend. We do request, however, that you NOT bring small children or babies. Please note that dates, times, and room numbers are subject to change. Applicants and interested individuals should call the Imaging Science Office prior to travel in order to confirm scheduling.
