English as a Second Language (ESL)

For adult citizens, immigrants and refugees only. This class provides training in the following skills:

  • Basic English in speaking, listening, reading, and writing
  • Preparing for work communication skills
  • Resume and job interview practice

English as a Second Language classes are available through theĀ Developmental EducationĀ Department.

You may be eligible for free classes if you are receiving Temporary Assistance to Needy Families (TANF)
