Computer and Software Training
Beginning Computers
Computer and Software Fundamentals teaches skills such as keyboarding, Windows VISTA, Word, Excel, Access, Outlook 2007 and the internet. Students who complete the class earn 11 college credits that could be applied to professional/technical certificate and degree programs.
WorkFirst students enrolled in the Beginning Computer Class who are receiving TANF are possibly eligible for the internship program, a paid work-study experience that allows students to apply their skills in a work setting.

You may be eligible for the WorkFirst Computer class if:

You are receiving Temporary Assistance to Needy Families (TANF) or your are working part-time, and your family gross income meets income guidelines.

You are a parent with a dependent child.
