PEOPLEWATCH, PART TWO
This
is the step that counts for the big bucks (up to 150 points)
Now
that you've done a freewrite and one sentence which sums up what it seems to be
about, write a short paper (try for at least two pages) which FOCUSES on that
idea. Select your details and the order
in whch you present them. Decide what to
include and what to leave out, and why.
You may find that you have to go back and observe some more, now that
you have a better idea of what to look for.
Try to create one single idea or impression that you want to communicate
to your reader.
YOU
MAY WANT TO REVISE THIS DRAFT AT LEAST ONCE BEFORE YOU TURN IT IN TO ME.
THE
FINAL DRAFT shall be typed, double spaced, and it shall represent the best work
of which you are capable at this point.
DUE DATE: Friday, October 8.
NO
LATE PAPERS WILL BE ACCEPTED, AND YOU MUST COMPLETE EACH STAGE TO MY
SATISFACTION BEFORE YOU CAN DO THE NEXT STAGE.
