Objective: English 101 is an intensive writing class that offers opportunities for revision and growth. The classroom activities and assignments are designed to foster the level of critical thinking and analysis & argumentation that is necessary for writing college-level papers. This course satisfies the basic skills requirement for the AA/AS degree and is the prerequisite for upper division English courses.
