aspect of the Spanish-speaking world and will communicate with the instructor

Course
Objectives
●
Upon completion of this course, students should be able to speak and write
simple sentences about topics covered during the quarter using newly acquired

explored during the course and reply accordingly; read and comprehend the

traveling to visit a Spanish-speaking country. This course will prepare students
for Spanish 122 (Spanish II). A C- grade minimum is advised to move on to the
next level.

External aid, such as an online
English-Spanish translator, is not allowed in this class. Based on what I have
seen, using a translator hurts your learning experience and it’s also a form of
cheating. I deeply appreciate when you do your assignments on your own. If you
have questions, please consult the vocabulary section in each chapter of your
book or the dictionary. Also, as always, I am more than happy to assist you
with any doubts you may have.
