Biography:

Kristi began her teaching career in 1992 as a middle school science teacher.  Since then, she has taught in a wide range of settings, including K-8 public schools, preschools, hospitals, clinics and universities. Kristi has an Ed.S. degree from the University of Virginia in Reading Education and is a reading specialist.  In addition, she has an M.S. degree in Speech and Language Pathology from Purdue University and a B.S. in Science Education from North Carolina State University.  Kristi is a military spouse and has lived all over the country, recently arriving in the Pacific Northwest in 2013.  She resides in Issaquah with her husband, three children and a dog.  In her spare time, Kristi enjoys traveling in her RV.
