Margaret Goertz has taught at BC in the English, ESL and ABE departments since 2009. Previously she was a high school English teacher, and an ESL teacher in Frankfurt, Germany and Hangzhou, China. Teaching at BC lets her return to an exciting classroom atmosphere, where students are in transition and looking to change their lives by improving their reading and writing skills. Margaret can’t think of a more interesting group of students to work with! Outside of teaching, she’s married and a parent living in a bilingual household. She loves their crazy German dinner conversations, bike riding and hiking together.
