{"id":295,"date":"2024-03-04T16:34:58","date_gmt":"2024-03-05T00:34:58","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.bellevuecollege.edu\/acjustice\/?page_id=295"},"modified":"2026-02-18T11:28:36","modified_gmt":"2026-02-18T19:28:36","slug":"academic-concentration-in-criminal-justice","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.bellevuecollege.edu\/acjustice\/academic-concentration-in-criminal-justice\/","title":{"rendered":"Academic Concentration in Criminal Justice"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"has-regular-font-size\">In addition to the AAS-T degree, students may elect to earn a <a href=\"https:\/\/catalog.bellevuecollege.edu\/preview_program.php?catoid=15&amp;poid=4889\">Concentration in Criminal Justice<\/a> by successfully completing 20 credits (four 5-credit classes) out of the following criminal justice core courses:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"has-regular-font-size\">Introduction to Criminal Justice CJ&amp;101<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"has-regular-font-size\">Juvenile Justice CJ&amp; 106<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"has-regular-font-size\">Criminal Law CJ&amp; 110<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"has-regular-font-size\">Introduction to Criminology CJ&amp; 112<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"has-regular-font-size\">Ethics in Criminal Justice (CJ 248 or PHIL 248)<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-regular-font-size\"><strong>AND THEN<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-regular-font-size\">When you are nearing graduation, complete a&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/forms.bellevuecollege.edu\/studentcentral\/graduation-application\/\">Graduation Application form<\/a>&nbsp;and submit it to the graduation office electronically.&nbsp; Note: You will need to complete TWO SEPARATE Graduation Applications \u2013 one for your degree and one for your Academic Concentration. <strong><em>Please Note:<\/em><\/strong>&nbsp;Concentrations must be awarded in the same quarter as your Arts and Sciences DTA.
