Medical Assistants typically serve in the outpatient setting at physician&#8217;s offices, clinics and multi-specialty facilities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Certificate of&nbsp;Achievement<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>This certificate has a total of approximately 58-65 credits and is usually completed in five quarters. Courses not listed, though of equivalent content (including transfer) may be eligible for substitution following the Bellevue College <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bellevuecollege.edu\/admissions-aid\/getting-started\/transfer\/\">transfer<\/a> and\/or substitution policies.<br>* Both BIOL&amp;241 and BIOL&amp;242 must be completed to meet the anatomy and physiology standard, if this option is selected.<br><sup>t<\/sup> Some courses have defined prerequisite or placement standards, please see the course catalog for requirements for these courses.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Upon successful completion of the program, students are eligible to sit for national certification exams, and apply for Washington State MA-C (Medical Assistant-Certified) certification.
