Advising

Prior to starting the Alcohol & Drug Counseling Program students are REQUIRED to arrange and attend an individual advising session.  Please Contact (HSEWI) Health Sciences Education & Wellness Institute for your individual advising session with the program director.  All advising is by appointment onlyThis first point of contact is crucial in establishing a coordinated and informed entrance into the program, as well as learning the importance of how to effectively use supervision in the field of addiction treatment.


Education Plan

Prior to beginning your program, you will receive an education plan specifically tailored to fit your life style all while meeting the program degree requirements. All ALDAC educational plans will be created by the program director. Your education plan will provide the framework for your time here in the program. It is imperative that you follow your education plan exactly. Deterring from your education plan may cause your program completion timeline to extend.

Please note, any changes to your education plan must be discussed with the Program Director prior to implementing the changes.


How to Apply

The Alcohol & Drug Counseling Program is an open-enrollment program.  To enroll in the program each student will need to complete a series of steps beginning with an advising appointment with the program director.

Graduation Information

To ensure all program requirements have been completed, it is required that ALL students meet with the ALDAC program director prior to program completion date.
