Art Appreciation/History of Photography Instructor


Ron Tanzi is a Magna cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa graduate of the University of Washington and a scholarship recipient for advanced studies in the Fine Arts at the University of Cincinnati where he received his MFA. Ron is an Adjunct Instructor here at Bellevue College and at Seattle Central College. With his background in both studio art and art history, Ron teaches Two-Dimensional Design, Color Design, Drawing, Painting, and all the Art History Survey classes, including a Survey of Non-Western Art. Ron has also taught Coordinated Studies classes with various emphases such as Surrealism and Sensuality. Purple border. Pink and purple middle, floating pictures in middle Commenting on his own work as a fine artist Ron states, “My works are always the result of a pragmatic process where I attempt to reconcile seemingly oppositional forces of multiple imagery and media – I see this as analogous to my own awkward attempts to understand this richly diverse world.” His mixed media works are in private collections in the US, Germany, Finland,
