She holds a<br>Fine Art degree from Rome, Italy, and two Master\u2019s degrees in Architecture\u2014one from the<br>University La Sapienza in Rome and one from the University of Washington in Seattle.<br>Her permanent public artworks include The Raven and the Light at Climate Pledge<br>Arena, Contour at Capitol Hill Library, Counterbalance Park in Queen Anne, and Luminous<br>Forest in Edmonds. Internationally, her work has been exhibited at Neoiconoduli (Palazzo<br>Bellomo, Siracusa), Museo della Penna (Perugia), HorseHead (Belfast), as well as Bellevue<br>Art Museum, Seattle Art Museum, MONA in La Conner, and in the world premiere<br>of Carmen with the Pacific Northwest Ballet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>Ioleography\u2122\u2014Laser-Plane Photography is a pioneering technique she created that uses<br>custom optics to capture ephemeral traces of human presence through planes of light. In<br>her project To the North Pole and Back, she brought this practice to the Arctic, observing<br>the subtle effects of a changing environment while tracing the residual energies of those<br>who moved through these illuminated fields\u2014artistic evidence of humanity\u2019s lingering<br>footprint. Her work has been featured in Architectural Record, Arcade, and Sculpture<br>Magazine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>A member of SOIL Gallery since 2009 and former President of the Civita Institute, she is the<br>recipient of the Seattle Art Museum\u2019s Betty Bowen Award and has received awards and<br>fellowships from the Office of Arts &amp; Culture, the Pollock-Krasner Foundation, Artist Trust,<br>and NiAUSI. At Bellevue College, she teaches Drawing, Design, and Color. She enjoys<br>applying her unique skills to courses that inspire students and support their creative<br>careers.
