The Reading Lab is offering a free online learning community during fall quarter, September 20 – December 8, 2022.
What Is It
- Students will use Canvas to improve vocabulary, understanding, and reading skills.
- Intermediate and advanced students will also use the Townsend Press Learning Center.
- Students can study at any time (asynchronously).
- For best results, plan to study one hour per week.
- The Online Learning Community is not a course, and students will not have grades.
Who Can Sign Up
Students who have a ctcLink ID number and are level 3 and above. Students don’t need to be registered for other classes in fall quarter.
- ESL students
- ABE students (Levels 2-5)
- I-BEST students
- ELI students
- LIP students (Levels 2-6)
- CEO students
- Students who are not taking ENGL 080 or ENGL 180 in the fall 2022.
