{"id":222,"date":"2025-08-21T01:10:59","date_gmt":"2025-08-21T08:10:59","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.bellevuecollege.edu\/asc-redesign-dev\/?page_id=222"},"modified":"2026-03-06T11:07:46","modified_gmt":"2026-03-06T19:07:46","slug":"become-a-tutor","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.bellevuecollege.edu\/asc\/tutoring\/become-a-tutor\/","title":{"rendered":"Become a Tutor"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<div class=\"wp-block-bc-sitka-spruce-narrow-content narrow-content\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-mayflower-blocks-lead lead\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Now Hiring Tutors for the 2026 -27 Academic Year!<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Tutor applications for interested students will be accepted NOW through April 17, 2026. <\/h3>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Ideal student candidates can commit to tutoring in fall, winter, and spring. <\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>The Academic Success Center (ASC) primarily conducts hiring during the Spring quarter to prepare for the upcoming academic year. Applications submitted now through April 17, 2026, will be reviewed by ASC leadership and finalists will be emailed for interviews.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>All interested students are encouraged to apply!<\/strong> The ASC offers flexible hours and a comprehensive training program. No previous tutoring experience is required.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Strong candidates will (review list below): <\/h5>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Be a current Bellevue College student, enrolled in at least one credit in all terms worked.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Agree to work with the ASC for a minimum of three academic quarters (ex.
