Lockwood was previously the head softball coach at Skagit Valley College. Prior to Skagit Valley, she was the assistant softball coach at Redmond High School during their 2022 state championship season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Before moving to Washington State, Lockwood was an assistant softball coach at the University of South Dakota from 2016 to 2018. She rejoined Robert Wagner, the coach who helped lead her team to a national championship at Arizona State University (ASU) in 2011. She also assisted Wagner at her alma mater as a volunteer during the 2015-2016 season at ASU.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Lockwood hails from Phoenix, Ariz., and was a multi-sport letter winner at Paradise Valley High School. She committed to ASU and was a three-year starter for the Sun Devils. Lockwood competed in the NCAA tournament all four years, advanced to the Women\u2019s College World Series three times, and was named to the WCWS All-Tournament Team when ASU won it all in 2011. Lockwood was an all-region outfielder for the Sun Devils from 2009-12 and hit 42 home runs and had 175 RBIs during her collegiate career.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition to her on-field talents, Lockwood was named an academic All-American and an NFCA Scholar Athlete. She was also awarded an NCAA postgraduate scholarship.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>From 2013-2015 Lockwood served as head softball coach at Skyline High School in Mesa, Ariz. and was named Arizona Big Schools Coach of the Year by the Arizona Republic in her first season at the helm. That same year, she began a two-year stint as an assistant coach for Firecrackers Softball Club and Hotshots for two years. During that time, she also volunteered as a coach at Arizona State during the 2015 and 2016 seasons and has been a personal hitting instructor since 2009.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Lockwood earned her degree in special education from Arizona State in 2013. She earned her master\u2019s degree in sports coaching through Northern Colorado in 2017.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Phoebe Schultz &#8211; Assistant Coach<\/h2>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"alignleft size-medium\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"238\" height=\"300\" src=\"https:\/\/www.bellevuecollege.edu\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/23\/2024\/11\/Phoebe-Schultz-238x300.jpg\" alt=\"coach\" class=\"wp-image-29644 img-fluid \" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.bellevuecollege.edu\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/23\/2024\/11\/Phoebe-Schultz-238x300.jpg 238w, https:\/\/www.bellevuecollege.edu\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/23\/2024\/11\/Phoebe-Schultz.jpg 550w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 238px) 100vw, 238px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n<p>Phoebe Schultz returns home to Washington and joins Bellevue\u2019s staff as an assistant coach. Hailing from Snohomish, WA, Schultz graduated from Glacier Peak High School in 2020 and was a 4-year varsity starter for the Grizzlies. Though her senior season was cut short due to Covid-19, Schultz garnered many impressive accolades in her time as a center fielder for the Grizzlies including two all-conference Selections, two all-area Selections, one all-county, an all-state and all-region nod. Going into her senior season, Schultz was also named a top 10 outfielder in the state of Washington by Scorebook Live.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In 2019, Schultz signed to play Division 1 softball at Utah Tech University (formally Dixie State University) and spent her freshman and sophomore seasons with the Trailblazers before transferring to play at San Francisco State University for her final two collegiate seasons. In her senior season at SFSU (2024), Schultz led her team in home runs, and was second in RBI\u2019s, on-base percentage, and walks &#8211; helping lead the Gators to their first postseason appearance in five years and third in program history. In addition to her success as a power hitter, Schultz proved an effective all-around offensive player as she ended her senior season top 10 in her entire conference in sacrifice hits. Schultz made an impact on SFSU\u2019s program off of the field as well, earning SFSU\u2019s <em>Golden Gator<\/em> award in 2023; marking a student-athlete who most embodies the selflessness, leadership, and diligence that constitutes San Francisco State\u2019s softball program.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Phoebe also excelled highly in the classroom as a student-athlete, earning 4 NFCA All-American Scholar Athlete awards as well as being a 2x CCAA Spring Academic Honor Roll Honoree, a 2x CCAA All-Academic Award Honoree, and a 2x D2 ADA Achievement Award Honoree. In her senior season at SFSU, Schultz was also named a CSC Academic All-District recipient, honoring the nation&#8217;s top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Schultz graduated <em>summa cum laude<\/em> with her B.A. in Sociology from San Francisco State University in May of 2024, and is enjoying working with Bulldog Softball as she pursues her master\u2019s degree.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Felipe Caycedo &#8211; Assistant Coach<\/h2>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"alignleft size-medium\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"244\" height=\"300\" src=\"https:\/\/www.bellevuecollege.edu\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/23\/2024\/11\/Felipe-244x300.jpg\" alt=\"softball coach\" class=\"wp-image-29643 img-fluid \" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.bellevuecollege.edu\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/23\/2024\/11\/Felipe-244x300.jpg 244w, https:\/\/www.bellevuecollege.edu\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/23\/2024\/11\/Felipe.jpg 603w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 244px) 100vw, 244px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n<p>Felipe Caycedo was hired in 2024 as Assistant Coach. Born in Bogot\u00e1, Colombia and raised in Bellevue, Felipe brings both international perspective and local roots to the program. A graduate of Bellevue HS in 2014, where he played baseball, he carries a lifelong passion for the game into his coaching. With a strong baseball background and deep ties to the community, he transitioned into coaching softball to help athletes grow both on and off the field.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He began his high school coaching career at Newport HS as an assistant coach from 2017\u20132019, where he was part of the staff that led the team to a fifth-place state finish in 2018; the best result in school history. He was then hired as Head Softball Coach at Bellevue HS, serving from 2020\u20132024 and guiding the program to multiple district tournament appearances while building a competitive and disciplined team culture.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In 2021, Coach Caycedo-Aguiar spent time working with the Colombian National Softball Team in preparation for the Pan American Games and led coaching clinics in Colombia aimed at developing youth coaching and player development across his native country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He also assists with baseball instruction at Field of Champions and remains committed to developing well-rounded student-athletes through accountability, teamwork, and a love for the game.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Amelia Roberts &#8211; Assistant Coach<\/h2>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"alignleft size-medium\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.bellevuecollege.edu\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/23\/2026\/02\/Amelia-Roberts-1-257x300.jpg\" alt=\"coach\" class=\"wp-image-30828 img-fluid \" style=\"width:262px;height:auto\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Assistant Coach Amelia Roberts begins her first year here at Bellevue on the softball staff. A local product, Roberts was as 2022 graduate of Eastlake HS. She was the recipient of the Coaches and Leadership Award for the Wolves and was a four-year letter winner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Roberts pitched at two NCAA division two schools; Cal-State San Bernardino and most recently at Central Washington University where she closed out her career in 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Jacki Smith &#8211; Assistant Coach<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Jacki Smith has been named Assistant Softball Coach by Director of Athletics Jeremy Eggers.
