<\/figure><\/div>\n\n\nJocelyn Lawrence recently completed her twelfth season at the helm of Bellevue College volleyball after taking over the program in 2014. Jocelyn was an assistant for the Bulldogs the previous three seasons (2011-2013).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Lawrence has taken the Bulldogs to new heights with consistent rankings and finishes in the top five the last four seasons. She led Bellevue to four consecutive region titles as well through 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Player development-wise, Lawrence has landed AVCA All-Americans for the last five years, with Karisa Martin, Mya Hejl, Olivia Deckard, Tommi Gallucci, Marin Mackey, Ariana Bilby, all receiving honors from 2025 to 2021 respectively.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Lawrence has also taken the program to new heights with a long alumni list of players transferring on and playing at the four year level. Martin (Univerisity of Texas-Arlington), Bilby (Seattle U\/Boise State), and Kate Hansen (Portland State) are recent Bulldogs who have transferred to NCAA Division I schools. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
This past fall in 2025, Bellevue dominated the NWAC and finished second overall at the NWAC Championships, falling to Treasure Valley. It was their second title match with the last being in 2017. The ‘dogs were ranked in the top two the entire year in the coaches’ polls. Lawrence had a memorable season in 2017 as the squad rallied in the loser\u2019s bracket to make it all the way to the championship game, finishing runner-up in one of Bellevue\u2019s all-time best finishes at the NWAC Championships. In 2016, the Bulldogs finished seventh at the NWAC Championship tournament, compiling a 36-10 overall mark, one of the best all-time season records for BC.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The Bulldogs also finished seventh at the NWAC Championship tournament in 2015 after finishing second in the Northern Region record with a 9-3 mark and 23-16 overall record.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Jocelyn was born and raised in Kansas where she competed at Hesston College in Hesston, Kan. and was named NJCAA National Player of the Week and a 2007 NJCAA Division II Volleyball All-American.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Lawrence resides in Fall City with her husband Martin and has four children; Deacon John, Lillian Nicole, Keifer Joseph, and Lainey Lynn.<\/p>\n\n\n\n angela.damelio@bellevuecollege.edu<\/a> Angela is entering her fifteenth season as an assistant coach for the Bulldogs. D’Amelio has been alongside Lawrence during the entire duration, making the two one of the most consistent coaching forces in the NWAC. In the off season she has coached for Villa Academy in Seattle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Angela grew up in Kirkland attending Juanita High School and moved on to play in the NWAC at Edmonds Community College from 2007-09, making two NWAC Championship tournament appearances with a third-place finish in \u201908. Angela was voted captain of her team in \u201909 and voted Second Team All-Northern Region and to the sophomore All-Star team.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Angela currently resides in Lynnwood with her daughter Mia and is also the program coordinator for the Athletics department at Bellevue<\/p>\n\n\n\n Tommi Gallucci joins the Bulldog staff for her first coaching season after finishing her college career with the Bulldogs for the 2022 and 2023 seasons. While playing for the Bulldogs, Gallucci was named AVCA All American and NWAC Championship All Tournament Team. In 2023 Lawrence led Bellevue to the North Region title with an 11-1 record (28-6 overall).
