Bellevue raced out early and took a 36-31 lead into the locker room at halftime. Bellevue caught fire even more in the second half, going from a 43% shooting percentage in the first half to 57% in the second. As Bellevue continued to maintain control in the second half, extending the lead, Olympic had no luck cutting into the deficit quickly with the three-pointer, as the Rangers made only 2 of 11 attempts from three-point territory in the second half.

Jordan Muir-Keung (23 points) and Taylor Freeman (22 points) led BC with consistent shooting all night. Both had the hot hands as Freeman was 8-for17 from the field including 3-for-6 from three-point range while Muir-Keung was 10-for-17 while making 3 of 7 from three-point land. Max Tilden was a threat underneath with a team-leading 3 blocked shots and 12 rebounds; of the 12, 7 were on the offensive side allowing BC several putback opportunities. The Bulldogs outrebounded the Rangers 42-27.

The win puts the Bulldogs at 4-3 in league (14-8 overall) and tied for second place in the North Region. Bellevue has a week off before a February 8 matchup as they will host Edmonds at 7:00 p.m. The matchup against the Tritons will be the second this season as the Bulldogs begin the second round of league play. Bellevue defeated Edmonds 84-65 on January 11 in their league opener.

Jordan Muir-Keung led Bellevue with 23 points. photo by Jim Hoehn.
