Bellevue College Vice President of Student Affairs and Dean of Student Life Mike Kaptik are pleased to announce that after a national search Bellevue College\u2019s has hired Jeremy Eggers as the new Athletic Director.<\/p>\n
Jeremy coached the Bellevue College Men\u2019s Basketball team the past 14 years and he has been an Assistant Athletic Director the past three years at Bellevue College.<\/p>\n
In addition to coaching the men\u2019s team, he coached the Bellevue College Women\u2019s Basketball team during the 2012-2014 seasons.\u00a0 Along with his coaching and Assistant AD duties, Jeremy has also worked at Bellevue College as a part-time instructor and gym manager.<\/p>\n
Eggers\u2019 teams have placed at the NWAC championships in 12 of the 14 years including both seasons with the women\u2019s team. Bellevue College has won the North Region title seven of the past 14 years and Jeremy was named North Region Coach of the Year five of the past 14 years and both years as the women\u2019s coach.<\/p>\n
In 2014, Jeremy led both the men and women\u2019s team to North Region titles. It is believed to be the only time in NWAC history this has been done.<\/p>\n
Prior to coming to Bellevue College, Jeremy spent one season as an assistant coach at Washington State University and several years serving as the Bellevue High School Head Basketball coach.<\/p>\n
Born in Norwich, CT, Jeremy received his Masters of Education from City University in 2004 and graduated from Pacific University in 1993.\u00a0 \u00a0Jeremy was a forward on Pacific University\u2019s basketball team for two seasons. Prior to Pacific, Eggers attended Edmonds Community College and was a two-year member of the basketball team.<\/p>\n
Jeremy and his wife, Joleen, reside in Woodinville and have three daughters, Jaela, Jaecy, and Jaemie.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
