Former Bulldogs Tyler Baumgartner and Cory Urquhart continued their hot hitting by each collecting three hits in a close 9-7 loss to the Chinese Taipei National Team (same club that was in the World Baseball Classic in March). After spotting Taipei to a 7-1 lead, the USA team chipped away as Baumgartner had RBI’s in the 1st, 3rd, 5th, and 9th innings. Team USA takes a day off and is now 1-1 before facing Japan on Friday on day four of the World Baseball Challenge.<\/p>\n
