The Bellevue College men\u2019s and women\u2019s golf teams traveled to the Tri-Cities for the CBC Invitational October 23-24. The women\u2019s team, led by sophomore Katya Case, captured their third straight tournament win to close out the fall season. The women found themselves 16 strokes out of first place at the end of the first round, but strong play in the second round at the difficult Canyon Lakes Golf Club allowed the Bulldogs to capture the team title by one shot over North Idaho College. Case finished with a two-day total 159, taking second place one shot out of first in individual play. Freshman Corey Rois took 7th with 177. Other BC women\u2019s scores: Tiffany Brunjes, 8th at 179; Alayna Herring tied for 9th; and Kayce Ogishima tied at 14th with 187.<\/p>\n
The BC men\u2019s team finished in third place with sophomore Zach Buchanan leading the way with a two-day total of 148, good for a 3rd place finish. Two strokes back at 150 taking 5th place was freshman Beau Forrest.
