In their first matches, pitting the Bulldogs against always-tough rival Spokane, Bellevue took the win 5-4. Then, on Sunday, Bellevue handily bested Treasure Valley 9-0.<\/p>\n<p>Bulldogs\u2019 head coach Jason Chapman said, \u201cAlthough it looks like Spokane might be the toughest competition so far in the NWAACC Conference, we held our ground.\u201d Bellevue won at the #1 singles position 6-0, 6-0 by <strong>Rixing Xu<\/strong>; at the #5 singles position 6-0, 6-3 by <strong>Preet Kaur<\/strong>; at the #6 singles position 6-4, 6-2 by <strong>Kristi Nasu<\/strong>; the #1 doubles position 8-6 by Xu and <strong>Sadie Dedon<\/strong>; and the #3 doubles position 8-5 by <strong>Jullie Le<\/strong> and <strong>Nasu<\/strong>.
