The Bellevue softball team landed on the pre-season coaches’ poll at the #8 spot.\u00a0 The Bulldogs have been ranked in the top 8 in every NWAACC coaches’ poll since the end of the 2005 season \u2013 the first season under current Head Coach Leah Francis.\u00a0 Prior to the 2005 season, the Bulldogs had never been ranked among the top 8.<\/p>\n
\u201cBeing ranked to start the season is indicative of the type of success we had last year and a testament to the effort put forth by the players, \u201c said Francis.\u00a0 \u201cSince I have been here, our goal has been to develop the softball program at Bellevue into one of the premier community college programs in the northwest.\u00a0 We have a lot of work ahead of us to maintain the level of success we have enjoyed over the past four seasons but being continuously ranked by the coaches proves we are moving in the right direction!\u201d<\/p>\n
