In the week\u2019s matches for Bellevue College, the women\u2019s soccer team played against Highline Community College and Olympic College.\u00a0 They took place on October 20th and October 23rd respectively.<\/p>\n
Against Highline, the Bulldogs created multiple scoring opportunities throughout the match, \u201cbut just got unlucky,\u201d stated Shefts.\u00a0 From shots hitting the goal post to shots that just missed wide of the goal, the Bulldogs could not capitalize.\u00a0 The only offensive output for the Bulldogs came on Abigail Stuart\u2019s score in the 37th minute, assisted by Brittney Conway.\u00a0 Highline was able to even the score at 1-1 in the 57th minute and that was how the match ended.<\/p>\n
The second match of the week ended better for Bellevue as they defeated Olympic.\u00a0 Two goals were scored by Jamie Lindstrom (18\u2019) and Kayla Kasper (89\u2019).\u00a0 Conway assisted the first goal while Lindstrom assisted the second.\u00a0 Two goals were all Bellevue needed as they took home a 2-0 victory.<\/p>\n
\u201cOlympic had a great goalkeeper which was challenging and we had great individual efforts.\u201d\u00a0 \u201cWe were able to execute some set plays and got the win\u201d said Shefts.<\/p>\n
