The Bellevue College Bulldog women’s golf team finished sixth overall in the opening spring league match; a two-day stroke play tourney held at Veteran’s Memorial GC in Walla Walla. Bellevue was 94-over par as a group over the course of two rounds. North Idaho was the tourney champion shooting 70-over par as a team.<\/p>\n
Sophomore Emily Ngonevolalath finished tied for 16th overall at 35-over par shooting rounds of 92-87. Sam Gillett posted rounds of 92-95; good for a T24th place. Nhi Nguyen shot 88-100. The Bulldogs had a rough time staying in the hunt for the title as one of their top golfers, Makenzie Milton, was forced to withdraw due to illness.<\/p>\n
The Bulldogs return onto the course next week for the next league match at Hangman Valley GC, hosted by Spokane, on April 21-22.<\/p>\n
