The defense, led by sophomore Kameron Jaramillo who played all 90 minutes, was outstanding as the &#8216;dogs prevented Pierce from getting any shots on goal the entire game.<\/p>\n<p>Teaghen Sweckard, a freshman from Wyoming, struck first early in the contest on an assist by Malia Miller just 15 minutes into the first half. Miller then scored a goal herself assisted by Lauren Landis at the 38:50 mark.<\/p>\n<p>The Bulldogs and Raiders played in cruise control for much of the second half as Bellevue maintained their 2-0 lead until late in the game as Donna Kvinge added a pair of goals in the final 12 minutes to put the game out of reach.<\/p>\n<p>The Bulldogs were attacking all day as the squad had eight shots on goal.<\/p>\n<p>Bellevue is now 1-0 in league play and 3-1 overall. The &#8216;dogs have a big in-region rival match at Highline this Wednesday September 11 at 1:00.
