Bellevue College women’s basketball took a somewhat competitive game and turned it into a blowout with at 27-11 fourth quarter run to defeat host Olympic College 81-60 yesterday afternoon in Bremerton. Sophomore Amanda Luckett led the way with 17 points and 12 rebounds for Bellevue. In the pivotal fourth quarter, Luckett scored 8 points and had 5 of her rebound total to fuel the run.<\/p>\n
Up only 54-52 to start the fourth quarter, Luckett got things going with a layup making it 56-52. The ‘dogs would then go on a 13-point run making it 69-52 until Olympic finally scored their first point in the quarter on\u00a0 an Isis Crew free throw with 5:23 to go in the game. All of Luckett’s fourth quarter points came in that stretch.<\/p>\n
Mo Bungay was 4-of-7 from three-point land and chipped in 14 points for Bellevue.<\/p>\n
