Bellevue College baseball had five players voted into the NWAACC Showcase. Of the five, two weren’t even members of the 2012 team; an indication of how new the 2013 club will be. Sophomore co-captains Brady Kerr and Max Brown were nominated as was 6-5 LHP Jake Reppert. Also selected were incoming transfers OF Spencer Manjarrez, who is transferring to Bellevue from Oregon State University’s baseball team, and RHP Dustin Doucette, a local product out of Inglemoor HS who pitched last year for the College of Southern Idaho. The showcase was attended by over 65 pro scouts and four-year college coaches last year. The event is an all-day affair on Saturday Sept. 29th at Lower Columbia College in Longview.<\/p>\n
