Bellevue College’s women’s tennis team lost 5-4 to four-year Pacific Lutheran University in their season opener on March 12. Defending NWAACC Baden Player of the Year, Rixing Xu continued her dominance from last year, winning 6-4, 6-1 in #1 singles play. She also won #1 doubles partnering with Kristy Braunston winning 8-6. Braunston, a freshman for the Bulldogs, also won #2 singles handily 6-0, and 6-2.
