Bellevue College Baseball Associate Head Coach Kevin Miller has been chosen as one of a handful of former University of Washington standouts to throw out the ceremonial first pitch during the grand opening of Husky Ballpark; the 15 million dollar facility that will open it’s doors for the first time this Friday, March 21 as the Huskies host the 2012 NCAA champion Arizona Wildcats.<\/p>\n
One player from each decade has been chosen by UW officials to be honored as one of the most dominant players in their decade as a Husky. Miller has been selected to represent the 1990’s. He was an All-American as he led the Huskies to the NCAA regionals. Miller has already been inducted into the UW Athletic Hall of Fame and is a member of the All-Century Team.
