Bellevue College women’s basketball used the long range shooting to make a difference in tonight’s 67-51 win over visiting Peninsula at Courter Family Athletic Pavilion. Bellevue scored 36 points on three-pointers, cashing in on 12-of-28 for 43% while Peninsula managed only 3 points on 1-for-11 from beyond the arc.<\/p>\n
Mo Bungay led the charge for BC with 22 points and throwing down 6-of-12 from three-point range. Addy Clabby also put forth a solid effort all around with 10 points, 4 assists, and 2 steals while committing zero turnovers while running BC’s offense.<\/p>\n
Bellevue came out of the gates hot leading 21-14 after one quarter and led 38-20 at halftime. Although Peninsula outscored them 31-29 in the second half, the ‘dogs were never threatened in the win.\u00a0 Bellevue was up by as much as 23 points in the fourth quarter with 3:29 left in the game after Bungay drained a three-pointer to put BC up 65-42.<\/p>\n
