Bellevue College women’s soccer was stunned in the final minutes, losing 3-2 to host Pierce as the Raiders netted two goals in the final 10 minutes of play to score a come-from-behind win.<\/p>\n
After Pierce got on the board early with a goal in the opening minutes, BC’s Alexis Lamb answered up with a goal 12 minutes into the game on an assist by Fatumata Dukureh.<\/p>\n
After 30 minutes of scoreless play in the second half, Maddie Drye found Dukureh for BC’s second goal with a little over 15 minutes left. With BC up 2-1, the win seemed almost a done deal before Pierce’s late surge in the final minutes.<\/p>\n
Bellevue falls to 2-1-1 in league play and 3-4-2 overall. The Bulldogs travel to their nemesis, Highline College this Saturday for a 12:00 p.m. kickoff.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
