In one of their most valiant efforts of the season, Bellevue College women’s basketball played host Everett on an even basis for the entire game but eventually fell 60-55 today.<\/p>\n
After being gridlocked at 27 at halftime, BC found themselves down by one at 42-41 entering the fourth quarter. The Trojans sealed the win down the stretch with three of four key free throws in the final seconds. Brianna Byrnes nailed a 15-footer to bring the ‘dogs to within three at 58-55 with 10 seconds to go. After an intentional foul to put Everett at the line, Everett’s Maddy Thoma made both ends for the win.<\/p>\n
