The Bulldogs lost momentum in set three, falling behind quickly 8-3 before Head Coach Jocelyn Lawrence signaled for a time out. The ‘dogs could not flip the switch, committing another six errors in a stretch that led the Raiders to a 20-7 lead. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
In set four, Pierce continued their hot streak jumping up 7-3 before Bellevue rebounded back and took the lead 13-12 on a kill by Taylor Pederson. The match remained close with BC up 19-18 before a huge run by the Raiders led by three consecutive points by Addie Downs to win 25-19. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
In set five, BC jumped up 9-4 and appeared to be in cruise control for the win before Pierce went on a 7-1 run to take the lead 11-10. From there on, a neck-and-neck battle would ensue until Pierce gutted out the final set. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Freshman setter Lauren Wittmers had 32 assists while Kate Hansen had 32 digs. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
