Skagit Valley College brought their offensive aggressiveness to Bellevue yesterday, defeating the Bulldogs 2-1 in NWAC North Region play. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Cardinals’ offense kept pressure on BC all day, keeping the ball on their side of the field as they got off a whopping 10 shots on goal. Bellevue goalkeeper Jackson Buck was heroic with 8 saves, but allowed two goals to sneak in during the first half to give Skagit Valley enough cushion for the win.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
BC got on the board first just 20 minutes into action on a goal by Lucas De Araujo, assisted by Bryan De La Rosa. The lead was short-lived however as Skagit Valley answered a minute later with the first of their run of two goals in the first half.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
