Bellevue College women’s basketball battled Lower Columbia through three quarters but fell 78-62. The Bulldogs, who tied the game early in the third quarter after trailing 41-37 at halftime, were outscored 24-13 in the final quarter as Lower Columbia controlled possession with a 17-9 and 11-5 margins in shot attempts and rebounds respectively.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The ball control by Lower Columbia stymied Bellevue scoring ace Sav Huerta who was only able to get off four shots in the fourth quarter. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Huerta led BC with 20 points while McKayla Rodriguez pulled down team-high 11 rebounds.
