The game was part of a round robin tourney featuring squads from all four NWAC regions hosted by Peninsula College.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After falling behind 12-11 after one quarter, it was all Bellevue from there on as the &#8216;dogs outscored Chemeketa by 20 points for the remainder of the game. The &#8216;dogs defense flipped things in the second quarter with three steals and tenacious rebounding to give BC control. Helena Van Ess and Bri Byrnes scored 11 of the team&#8217;s 17 points in the pivotal quarter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sav Huerta had 22 points and was a perfect 10-for-10 from the line to lead Bellevue.
