Bellevue College women’s basketball claimed their second victory in two days at the NWAC Crossover Tourney defeating Tacoma 67-35. The game was hosted by Chemeketa Community College in Salem, OR.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
After a close first quarter which saw Bellevue hold a 14-12 lead, the ‘dogs lengthened it out by holding Tacoma to only four points in the second quarter. Bellevue then got hot in the third, making nearly everything they threw up shooting 11-for-14 from the field for a 26 point quarter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Gwen Aasland led BC with 17 points on eight-of-11 shooting. She pulled down seven rebounds as well. McKayla Rodriguez was a force again underneath grabbing 14 rebounds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
