Bellevue College men’s soccer battled West Region champion Highline to the end, falling in overtime, 2-1 at Starfire Complex in Tukwila in NWAC Quarter-Final Playoff action. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
With just two minutes left in the ten minute overtime period, a penalty on Bellevue led to a penalty kick which Highline’s Dugsiye Ahmed drilled home for the winner. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The game was scoreless through the first half before Highline jumped out 1-0 early in the second half. With just minutes remaining, Patrick Gloria scored on an assist by goalkeeper Jackson Buck to tie the game 1-1 leading the T-Birds and ‘dogs into overtime where Ahmed would eventually convert.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
